Description
Initially named the Chou-Chou bag and designed by Gianfranco Ferré, the bag was renamed the Lady Dior in 1996 in honor of the Princess of Wales: Diana. Lady Di was photographed carrying her favorite accessory at countless events causing it to be named for it. That's not the only regal portion of this bag's history though - the Cannage quilting which is found on some styles of the bag's silhouette was inspired by the Napoleon III chairs that were featured in the 1947 Christian Dior fashion show.
